    Hi Linda, chicken is a known allergen to cats. As are beef and grains.

    Cats with suspected food allergies are often put on foods with lamb, rabbit or veal, or I think, even venison, as the protein source.

    Cynthia, your kitty could have IBD also.

    have you thought of getting a second opinion from another vet, esp an internal medicine specialist?

    Have you contacted your breeder? (or is this a rescue kitty, I don't remember?) I wonder if this is a genetic based problem?

      Avoid Imodium in cats. It can cause extreme central nervous system excitation.
