  • Odd growths on 12 yo cats back

My 12 year old Russian Blue has come up in 6 odd growths on his back in the last month. They look a lot like nipples, they have a "collapsed" duct like center, and are oily. I haven't been able to find anything online that even resembles them. Anyone have any idea what they might be? Not like sebaceous cysts that I can tell. Slightly worried, due to his age.

    Thanks,
    Elizabeth

Hi and welcome to the forum. These growths couled be a lot of things, from some sort of bite to fatty tumors. The only way to get them definitively diagnosed and ally your worries is to have them looked at by a vet.

A vet visit should give you some answers, and at least peace of mind knowing you are doing what is best. A solid lump is often a sacroma, so that seems to be ruled out.

I agree -; a vet visit is in order, probably they will take a specimin for examination by a pathologist
