Yep - they get good and crunchy. Seriously. I like Peeps whether they're stale or not (what's not tasty about sugar and marshmallow?), but somehow the purple peeps taste the best when stale. Funnily enough, some of my siblings agree on the stale part, although some think I'm nuts on loving their chocolate mousse flavored peeps (but I think they're great).

This year, we branched out on our Peep buying, and I got us both a rice-krispy treat made by the Peep brand - oh, that was darned good. I thought afterwards "well, of COURSE it's a great rice-krispy treat - who else would get it right besides people who's best business is their marshmallows????". Made a lot of sense to me. Next year, I'm going to pick a few more of those up.

It's a really good thing that the Peeps people only go crazy with their stuff for easter - sure, they do make Peeps for other holidays, but this is their big one, and it's the only one of the holidays I really let myself eat whatever I want of their stuff. Which is good, otherwise, I'd never fit out my front door and I'd have to order my Peeps online. LOL

I stand corrected :-D Never seen them over here. From what you say though, perhaps that is a GOOD thing!

I personally don't like them. They're marshmallow chicks. Of course I never liked Jelly Beans either, and now I can't stop eating them.

I brought a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs the other day and inside they had some that were made from white chocolate. I'm not a big fan of white chocolate but I do believe that was one of the best things I ever ate. I hope WalMart still has some when I go back.

I never liked jelly beans as a kid either but this Easter I ate two bags of them.

Most of the Easter stuff is 50% off. I bought the jelly beans (starburst and jolly rancher) for $1.08 at Target.
