Default Watching the Puppy Bowl

The Puppy Bowl is on. This year adds rabbit cheerleaders and a blimp "manned" by guinea pigs. Mike is finding it fascinating, especially the kitty half-time show. Ever since we got our HDTV, he has really noticed whenever animals are on. TV never clicked for Gene.

Either my little kitten Winston is a super-spastic kitten, or those were some pretty tame kittens on the halftime show! Very very, cute, though. All those adorable puppies and kittens are soooooo sweet and fun to watch!!

Wilson, Bucky and the bunny gang here were disappointed there were no binkies by the bunny cheerleaders.

I'm usually very happy that we don't have digital, but I would have been happy to get Animal Planet today. Rabbit cheerleaders! Oh, well, I expect it will show up online at some point.

You gotta get digital and HD before the Olympics!

Ah, that's why I don't have digital. It will eat up my whole life. I rely on having just basic cable (and a 15-year-old, 20-inch TV) to keep me from spending too much time in front of the tube!

I really don't think I watch TV any more just because of the HD - it just makes what I do watch a lot more enjoyable.

Well, this is it -- one seems to inevitably lead to another. First you get HD and then you wonder why you don't have anything good to watch on the new set, or first you get digital and you notice you have all these channels and are watching them on a tiny, dark screen... and then the Olympics roll around and it's 24/7 events... no, I think I'm safer the way I am!

Me too, Diane. Until a TV breaks completely I don't see any need for a new one. By the way the digital cable I now get makes my old TV give a beautiful picture.
